Christchurch Day Tour - Full Day - Must See Four
The tour commences with central city accommodation pick-ups between 9.00 am - 9.30 am daily from Cathedral Square and includes four of Christchurch's main attractions.
1. First stop is the International Antarctic Centre, a winner of the New Zealand Tourism Board's award for 'Best Visitor Attraction'. It recreates the atmosphere of Antarctica and provides the visitor with an interactive exciting experience of this Southern Continent which very few people have the opportunity to experience first hand.
2. The tour then moves on to Willowbank Wildlife reserve where you will experience New Zealand's largest and most unique daytime Kiwi viewing area. Feed and pet unique animals throughout the reserve. The reserve contains a large variety of birds and animals life both native and introduced.
3. Following Willowbank you will enjoy the Christchurch Tram with its 2.5km of track through the central city. The 25 minute tour includes a guide to the city's 'must see' attractions, and full on-board commentary.
4. The tour then moves to the Christchurch Gondola. Following a cable car ride to the summit the visitor will be treated to breathtaking 360 degree views of the city, Canterbury Plains, and Banks Peninsula.
The tour concludes with a drop off in the central city, or a return to the original pick up points at 4pm.
